This past Saturday the SJSU Hockey Team partnered with Sharks Ice at San Jose and Sharks Ice at Fremont to help some local kids give hockey a try for the first time. Kids ages 4-12 took part in a free clinic at both Sharks Ice facilities in the South Bay as part of USA Hockey’s Hockey Weekend Across America.
Spartan Hockey players Adam Steadman, Andy Dickerson, Mason Console, Michael Steininger, and Steven Stichler helped the kids gear up before strapping on the laces themselves to impart some of their hockey knowledge to their young proteges. It was a great skate for all involved.
