The final West Region Rankings were released today and due in large part to their inability to compete over the final two weeks of the regular season due to suspension the Spartans dropped two spots to #7. UNLV and San Diego State jumped up the board to #5 and #6, respectively.
Here are the West Region’s final top 10 teams:

3. Colorado State
4. University of Colorado

6. San Diego State
7. SPARTANS
8. Northern Arizona
9. Denver

As National Tournament hosts, though, the Spartans still receive one of the the region’s two automatic berths. Barring two upset wins by the #8-10 teams at the Regional Playoff, the Spartans will most likely secure the #4 West seed and play in Pool B at the National Tournament.
