SJSU Visits COC This Weekend

The Spartans have added 2 exhibition games to their schedule as they will travel to Valencia, CA to face-off against the College of the Canyons Cougars at 7:30pm on Friday (2/25) and 8:40pm on Saturday (2/26).

The Cougars have had a storybook season thus far as they are the #1-ranked team in the nation in Division III, have gone a perfect 21-0-0 in league play, and secured their third straight Pacific Coast Hockey Conference (PCHA) Championship. With the Cougars heading to the 2011 ACHA Division III National Tournament in Holland, MI from March 9th-12th and the Spartans getting ready to host the 2011 ACHA Division II National Tournament from March 15th-19th both teams want to be in the best shape possible to take on the best the nation has to offer. These games will be the Spartans’ first competitive contests in over a month and should provide both squads with a great boost heading into post-season play.
