This is Justin's first year as Spartan Hockey's play-by-play man and he is sure to generate excitement with his quick wit and all-around sports knowledge. Justin transferred to SJSU in the Fall of 2007 as a junior from Cabrillo College. In his first year, he was involved in many facets of broadcasting. He was an on-air D.J. for 90.5 KSJS and in the spring got his first sports broadcasting experience calling games for Spartan Baseball. Justin also worked as a cameraman for the Spartan Hockey team filming highlights and archive footage. Entering his third year at KSJS, Justin serves as the station's Sports Director, a position once held by former Spartan Hockey broadcasters Shawn Murphy and Rob Soul, and hosts the talk show “Sports Weekly.”

Tim is in his sixth year at SJSU and has been with KSJS for all five of his previous years at State. This is Tim's second season in the Spartan Hockey booth and fourth season overall covering the team, having spent countless hours back in the studio engineering broadcasts from 2006-08. Tim brings a wealth of experience to the booth, having called the action for football and baseball for the past three years. In his spare time, Tim enjoys working with youth at local grammar schools coaching basketball and softball. Tim is looking forward to bringing his knowledge and passion to Spartan Hockey broadcasts this season.
